The Dallas Lone Star Basketball Association was founded in 2012 (League was called Dallas GBA). This league was created for LGBTAQ men and women to create an atmosphere for athletes in hopes of strengthening a community while providing alternative option for socializing within the gay community.
The AGBL was created to provide a welcoming environment to all lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people who are interested in playing basketball, building friendships, and giving back to Austin’s community.
Pride San Antonio is expanding its sports offerings by starting a 5on 5, full court basketball league. While there will be wins, losses, and friendly competition, the primary goal of the league is to provide another outlet for everyone to show their support of the LGBTQ community.

The Boston Gay Basketball League is a well organized basketball league in the greater Boston area free from discrimination on the basis of race, religion, creed, gender, national origin or sexual orientation, with special emphasis on the participation of the gay community. The league promotes sportsmanship and camaraderie and fights to eliminate negative stereotypes associated with LGBT athletics. Beginners are always welcome, as are players of all experience.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of basketball or athletic experience. The League has four divisions (Competitive, Intermediate, Recreational & Masters) so players of all skill, interest and energy level have a place to play!
