My family comes from a basketball background. I’ve played basketball since I was five years old. Once I graduated from college and moved to Dallas, I heard about the NGBA from a friend and was very interested in playing with guys that looked, sounded, and played like me.
Yes! I played for the Dallas Thundercats and I was really eager to prove to a point that I could really hoop. It was a great experience because I was able to form life long relationships.
I listen to music before each game to calm my nerves.
Will Sheridan! He likes to talk trash and overall have a good time. I think relationships matter and he definitely has my vote.
It has granted me access to have the relationships that I can carry for a lifetime.
LaJon Survillion has continuously raised the bar in his style of play. He strives to get better each game and that is something I look up to.
My favorite memory is winning the Olympic tournament. I cried because I was able to win with not just my friends, but my family. I also celebrated my 30th birthday in Paris. It was a dream come true to live in that moment.
I would say to the young athletes that being yourself will allow you to distinguish who is truly for you in every aspect. Let your light shine so that others may be inspired.
