The New Leaders of the NGBA
More than Basketball
The National Gay Basketball Association (NGBA) is proud to announce the finalization of the NGBA Bylaws, appointment of the first members to its Board of Directors, and the election of the managing officers this past weekend at the first annual Board of Directors meeting in Las Vegas, NV.
As written in the bylaws, NGBA founder Mark Chambers was able to appoint the following members to the NGBA Board of Directors;
Simon Griffin (Philadelphia), Brian Turner (Las Vegas),
There are currently two (2) vacant seats available on the Board of Directors and future nominees will be voted in at the 25th Annual Coady Roundball Classic in April 2015.
In addition, the following elected positions were filled with temporary representatives until the Coady Roundball Classic;
Commissioner Simon Griffin,
